Expiring Date
Free · Private · No tracking

Never miss a renewal, deadline or important date again.

Expiring Date is a personal reminder service for the things that run out: subscriptions and free trials, gift cards, loyalty points, insurance policies, gym memberships, ID card renewals, and the birthdays you must not forget. Add a date once, choose how far ahead you want a heads-up, and get a friendly email in time.

  • Free for personal use, no payment details asked
  • Reminders years or just a day ahead, your choice
  • Export or delete your data any time

Forgetting is expensive. Remembering is free.

Most of us keep dozens of dates in our heads, in old emails, or nowhere at all. Then one of them slips.

The gift card that expired unused

Billions in gift cards and loyalty points go unspent every year because nobody remembers the date on the back. A reminder a month ahead turns them into a treat instead of a loss.

The trial that became a bill

Free trials quietly turn into paid plans. A reminder the day before lets you decide instead of being charged for something you no longer use.

The birthday you remembered a day late

Some dates are not about money. A note a week ahead leaves time to buy a card, book a table or just make the call, every year, without thinking about it.

Made for everyday life

The seven things people forget most often. Each comes as a ready-made category with sensible reminder times.

Subscriptions & free trialsGet a nudge before the trial turns into a charge or the yearly plan renews.
Birthdays & anniversariesYearly reminders a week and a day ahead, with your gift ideas in the notes.
Gift cards & vouchersSpend them before they expire. Keep the balance and where the code is in the notes.
Loyalty points & milesPoints that lapse after inactivity get a reminder in time to use them.
Insurance policiesCar, home, travel and health: enough notice to compare prices before renewal.
Gym & club membershipsKnow when the commitment period ends and what the notice period is.
ID card & licence renewalsDocuments take weeks to renew. A reminder months ahead makes it a non-event.

Up and running in three steps

1

Add a date

Pick a category, type a title and the date. Recurring things such as yearly insurance or monthly bills roll forward on their own.

2

Choose when to be warned

Default lead times come with every category, for example 60, 30 and 7 days before an insurance policy renews. Change them per item if you like.

3

Get the email, act, done

Reminders land in your inbox in your morning, with a link straight to the item. A weekly summary shows what is coming up. Pause any of it with one click.

Questions people ask

Who runs this service?

Expiring Date is operated by Expiring Date. Our full contact details are in the privacy policy and terms, and a security contact is published at /.well-known/security.txt. We never ask for payment details, card numbers or document numbers; the service only stores the dates and notes you choose to enter.

Is it really free?

Yes. Personal accounts are free. There is no card to enter and nothing to cancel.

Will you spam me?

No. You receive exactly the reminders you configure, an optional weekly summary, and security notices about your own account. Nothing else, ever.

What if an email is late or lands in spam?

Email is not perfect, so we recommend setting several lead times (for example 30, 7 and 1 days) and adding our sender address to your contacts. The dashboard always shows what is coming up as well.

Where is my data stored and who can see it?

On our own server, encrypted in transit and with secrets encrypted at rest. Nobody sells or analyses it. Read the Privacy and Data Processing Policy for the full picture, including your GDPR and CCPA rights.

Can I use it for my company or family?

Yes. Track staff document expiries, company filings, licences and contracts, or the whole household's cards, cars and pets. Each person gets their own account and reminders.

Add the date you are most likely to forget. Right now.

It takes two minutes, and the next reminder does the remembering for you.
